Central Board of Secondary Education would be releasing the results of the biggest and most popular entrance exam of the country i.e. JEE Main results 2013 on 7th May, 2013 where the students wise Rank List and Merit List would be published. As per the new norms, from this year on wards candidates qualified in the JEE Main would be able to appear in JEE Advanced and those who qualify the Advanced level would be eligible for the admission into NITs, IIITs, DTU and CFTIs around the country.
First 1,50,000 rank holders would be considered as qualified in the first round of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE); it does not mean that only only one a half candidates would appear in the JEE Advanced as candidates who have scored the similar rank and number would be considered as qualified.
Around 14 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Main 2013 who can check their result on 7th May on the official website of JEE Main on http://jeemain.nic.in.
